GeneralS. Saviours has a long, and rich choral tradition, which has culminated recently in a revived choir going from strength to strength under first Robert Crowley, then Peter Davis, Christopher Muhley and now John W. The choir meets weekly for practice on Fridays, during ordinary term time. Adults arrive at 7:30 pm sharp and work until 9:00 pm. In addition there is a practice session just before the service - people should appear about 30 minutes prior to the service for vesting, and for the rehearsal. A wide variety of music is sung. The choir is currently 16 people, and is actively recruiting. |
