Also a great online resource (although tricksie to move around) is
the classics site Perseus.com
- authoritative on Greek and Latin texts up to a certain date. For
translations from Greek and Latin into English, there is a fast path
here.
Many literary and other texts are available from the Project
Gutenburg site - for download or for searching, Be warned - these
texts are often only lightly edited and contain errors. Project Gutenburg
has its objective the transference of all (significant) literature
to online formats.
